Rob Lowe reveals why it was like to be famous in 80s

Rob Lowe is revisiting memories of the 80s.

The 62-year-old actor recently appeared on the Chicks in the Office podcast, where he discussed how his career and personal life have progressed throughout the years.

“It was just an incredible time,” said Rob. “It was an incredible time to be in the business. It was an incredible time to make movies."

"It was an incredible time to party. It was an incredible time to be single," he continued. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”

The Outsiders star added, “In the totality of humanity, if I could have lived in any time, that would have been it."

The podcast host Maria “Ria” Ciuffo then chimed in that the 80s were a time she would have liked to live in.

To which, Rob replied, “It was better than you dream. No social media. No cell phone cameras.”

The Unstable star remembered planning nights out with friends and not knowing if they would come because there was no way to communicate.

“The intrigue of it was beautiful,” he said.

On the work front, Rob is currently busy promoting his newly released movie, The Musical. The comedy film was released in cinemas on September 18.
