Meghan Markle welcomes first California friend to her new home

Meghan Markle recently hosted one of her closest friends from California for a visit to her family's new home in the UK. 

Kelly McKee Zajfen became the first of Meghan's California friends to visit since she and Prince Harry relocated their family to England last month.

McKee Zajfen shared a series of photos from the trip on Instagram, sharing a glimpse into Meghan and Prince Harry's life in the English countryside. 

The images showed Meghan cuddling with McKee Zajfen's infant son during a cozy pub meal, along with Prince Harry getting down on the floor to play with the baby.

She also shared a photo of the couple's daughter, Princess Lilibet, spending time with the baby, and another showing Meghan, McKee Zajfen, and a mutual friend playing a game together in the backyard over wine.

In her caption, McKee Zajfen looked back on how meaningful the trip felt, describing the experience of visiting Meghan's new home and sharing several of her son's early milestones during the visit.

McKee Zajfen and her husband welcomed their son this past March, four years after losing their older son to COVID and viral meningitis. She has previously credited Meghan with providing emotional support during that loss.
