Rosie O'Donnell is said to be ‘stepping away’ from Kathy Griffin.

According to Radar Online, Rosie and her long-time friend Kathy Griffin’s friendship is facing tensions as the TV personality didn’t invite Kathy on Jimmy Kimmel Live when she was serving as a guest host for a week on the show.

Moreover, Kathy expressed online that she was "really hurt."

While Rosie went online and stated, "Kathy – shoulda called me, honey – I didn't choose the guests."

Speaking on the matter, a source told the outlet, "That's what really bothered Rosie. If you're hurt, pick up the phone. Don't turn a private friendship into public content."

It is worth noting here that Rosie and Kathy have been friends for nearly three decades, and Kathy had appeared multiple times on the Rosie O'Donnell show from 1997 to 2001.

An insider claimed, "Rosie loves Kathy, but she's exhausted. Everything becomes a grievance, and suddenly everyone is watching. She doesn't want that kind of friendship anymore."

"Rosie isn't interested in fighting. She's simply stepping away," it further added.

For those unaware, Rosie served as a guest host on ABC’s late-night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, for four episodes from August 17 to 20. The host welcomed stars including Hannah Waddingham, Ana Gasteyer, Charlie Day, Richard Gadd, and Nick Offerman, with a few more.
