Perez Hilton hit by ‘catastrophic’ health crisis

Perez Hilton’s “serious, but stable” health condition took centre stage.

According to Radar Online, the entertainment commentator Perez was taken to Miami Hospital in August after self-harming and also suffered broken bones from several falls. Moreover, his three kids were home at the time, according to Radar Online.

A source has revealed to the outlet some disturbing details of the self-harm, stating, "Perez tried to cut off his p----."

"This wasn't a superficial injury. This was an incredibly serious attempt to mutilate himself," the source added.

An insider close to Perez revealed that "His body went through enormous trauma."

Noting, "Doctors had to deal with the blood loss, the wounds, the broken bones, and all the other physical injuries before anything else. There were multiple medical issues happening at once. Keeping Perez alive, stable, and physically safe was the immediate priority."

It is worth noting here that Perez is a single father of three children: the eldest son Mario, daughter Mia, and the youngest Mayte.

A person close to the family claimed that "He's still covered with cuts that are healing, stitches are dissolving, and he's still got some on his face. They were hoping they could heal a bit more this week before he sees the kids.”

However, his condition is now described as "serious, but stable."

"This was catastrophic," an insider said.

"They want Perez safe, surrounded by professionals and getting the intensive help he needs," they further noted.

It is pertinent to mention that Perez is currently in a residential treatment program and focusing on his mental health and recovery.
