Prince George does the job where William and Kate's team failed
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s son Prince George recently started going to Eton College
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Kensington Palace communications team has relied mainly on Instagram to promote the couple’s royal activities.
Due to this strategy, the Prince and Princess of Wales have gained over 17 million followers on their official Instagram account, becoming the most popular members of the British royal family on the social media platform.
However, the couple’s social media team has been unable to grow their presence on X, where they have lost thousands of followers recently.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’s followers on X, formerly Twitter, recently declined from 2.9 million to 2.8 million.
Pictures and videos shared on X also earn fewer views compared to their Instagram posts.
Pictures of Prince George’s first day at Eton College were, however, an exception, as the X post featuring the future king’s photos racked up nearly 10 million views on the platform.
