Who is Cameron O’Reilly? All about Jemima Goldsmith’s multi-millionaire husband

Jemima Goldsmith has tied the knot to multi-millionaire financier Cameron O’Reilly in an intimate ceremony over the weekend.

The news was announced by Jemima Jones, the sister-in-law of award-winning producer, on her Instagram account while sharing the heart-warming moments from the conjugal ceremony.

"Celebrating Jemima and Cameron's wedding, with my favourite date, what a happy day!." she wrote along with her photo with her husband's photo.

Dressed to impress for the occasion, Jemima Jones and Ben Goldsmith struck a pose beside a serene lily pond, framed by the grand stone facade of a stately home and its meticulously manicured formal gardens.

However, she did not share the pictures of the bride and groom.

Who is Cameron O’Reilly?

Cameron O’Reilly is a 62-year-old Irish-Austrian businessman, financier and executive producer. He is the son of the late Sir Anthony O’Reilly who was the legendary media tycoon and former Irish international rugby player.

Being an Oxford graduate, Cameron stepped into the business related to his family’s media empire. He served as chief executive until 2000 for various media outlets including Independent News & Media and the Australian publisher APN News & Media.

In 2003, he founded the private equity fund Bayard Capital and acquired the Swiss smart-metering company Landis+Gyr, which he later sold to Toshiba in 2011 for $2.3 billion.

He has also worked as an executive producer on various films and documentaries.

Jemima and Cameron met through their professional work in the film and documentary space. After dating for roughly a year and keeping their romance largely out of the public eye, they engaged and married in a private ceremony.

Cameron has four children and Jemima has two sons, Sulaiman and Kasim, from her previous marriage.
