Travis Barker's journey to be veganism came with a hilarious twist at home.

The Blink-182 drummer, who gave up eating meat during his teenage, opened up about what he used to do when a meaty meals were served as dinner.

Barker told People that his dad was very "strict" growing up, noting, "You had to eat everything on your plate before you left the dinner table."

The animal rights activist continued, “So I’d be there for hours sometimes — till I figured out I could hide all of the meat in my pockets.”

But Barker "got caught eventually."

"My mom was like, ‘Why is there always ham in your pocket? Why is there always chicken in your pocket?’"

Despite his father's strictness, Barker revealed that one day he finally gathered the courage to stand firmly on his stance.

He recalled, “I remember clearly sitting at Thanksgiving dinner and telling my dad I don’t eat meat anymore."

"That was the beginning of me making plant-based meals in my house," he added.

Along with his meal, Barker shared he even keeps his wardrobe animal-cruelty-free.

Now, Barker even makes vegan meals for his son Rocky, whom he welcomed with his wife Kourtney Kardashian.

The proud dad shared, “There’s so many good substitutes. I make my son Rocky vegan egg whites every morning, and they’re amazing."

Further adding of Rocky's favorite foods, Barker said, “Also he loves gluten-free vegan bread and vegan butter. He loves vegan sushi. There’s a spot called MaKin Vegan Sushi in the Valley in Los Angeles. Bonkers, the best vegan sushi ever. He loves edamame. I think there’s so many choices that are great for kids.”
