Prince Harry wants to 'clap back' at senior royals with Princess Diana's 'revenge dress' for Meghan

Prince Harry is planning to send a powerful message to his father King Charles, Prince William and other members of the royal family with his late mother Princess Diana’s legendary “revenge dress” for Meghan.

As per claims, Harry wants to buy Diana’s legendary “revenge dress” for his wife Meghan.

Royal expert Rob Shuter has claimed that insiders say Harry believes Meghan should be the woman who owns it.

The iconic black Christina Stambolian dress Diana wore in 1994 is heading to auction at Sotheby’s in New York on December 9, with an estimate of $150,000 to $300,000.

In his latest piece for Naughty But Nice substack, Rob Shuter citing the sources as saying for Harry, this isn’t simply another piece of royal memorabilia.

The source continued, “Harry sees that dress as a symbol of his mother taking back her power.

“Diana wore it to clap back at Charles, Camilla and an institution that had made her miserable. In Harry’s mind, Meghan understands that story better than almost anyone.”

Diana famously stepped out in the daring off-the-shoulder dress the same day then-Prince Charles publicly admitted his infidelity.

Now, the expert claims, Harry wants to bring that history into his own family.

The dress was previously auctioned for cancer and AIDS charities in 1997, shortly before Diana died in a car accident in Paris at the age of 36.
