Kensington Palace breaks silence on Prince William, Kate Middleton’s latest visit

Prince William and Kate Middleton came together to help protect lives.

On the world Suicide Prevention Day, Thursday, the Prince and Princess of Wales encouraged people to talk about the issue.

The official Instagram handle of the Prince and Princess of Wales posted photos from the future King and Queen's appearance. They appeared together at Everton Football Club’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool and unveiled On Your Side: A Suicide Prevention Toolkit for People in Sport.

The details shared in the caption read, "Introducing On Your Side: A Suicide Prevention Toolkit for People in Sport."

"Bringing together leading figures from across sport to launch a new toolkit developed by The Royal Foundation with the British Standards Institution and @chasingstigma." The toolkit will help people across sport recognise the signs, start the conversation, and connect someone with support before they reach crisis point - from local clubs to elite teams, whatever the sport," it added.

Kate stood alongside her husband during the event, wearing a striking blue pantsuit, while William opted for a navy suit. 

It is peritnent to mention that Prince William has made suicide prevention and mental health awareness an important part of his public work. In his speech, he emphasized that a friend, teammate, coach or colleague may be the first person to notice that someone is struggling.
