Prince Harry, Meghan Markle UK move comes ‘a trial run’?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to “want the best of both worlds.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are searching for a home in the UK following their UK comeback after almost six years. Moreover, the former working royals are trying to keep their Montecito home and US-based business, as per Fox News Digital.

As a royal expert, Kinsey Schofield, revealed to the outlet, "I suspect they want the best of both worlds — access to Britain, proximity to the monarchy and the credibility that comes with Harry’s royal identity, while maintaining the freedom and commercial opportunities they associate with life outside the U.K."

It is worth noting here that the Sussexes returned to the UK at the end of August, along with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

However, Kinsey explained the homecoming as a possible “trial run,” saying, "Harry and Meghan never do what they say or say what they mean," she said. "One year ago, Harry told us the U.K. was not safe enough to bring his wife and children. Now someone is briefing the Daily Mail that Harry has a 15-year plan in the U.K. Alternatively, we’re briefed this could be temporary."

She noted, "I would describe it as a trial run rather than a definitive homecoming."

While Richard Fitzwilliam said that the former working royals view themselves as “international citizens."

Adding, "They claim that their balance of business activities and trips abroad over the last six years is a success.”

On the other hand kinsey said that returning to his home country could carry emotional importance for Prince Harry, stating, "Harry has much more at stake emotionally."

"Returning gives him an opportunity to reconnect with his country, his family, old friends and a version of his identity that he walked away from six years ago," Kinsey claimed.

While Meghan may have a different perspective, "For Meghan, Britain carries different associations."

"She has repeatedly described her royal experience as deeply unhappy, so I think it is reasonable to question whether she could ever feel the same enthusiasm Harry might feel about putting down permanent roots."

Noting, "Harry may see Britain as coming home. Meghan may see Britain as somewhere useful to spend part of the year."

"Those are two very different emotional investments," Kinsey further claimed.
