Prince Harry’s homecoming took a deeper turn.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made an unanticipated UK comeback after almost six years for an extended stay, as they relocated to California, US, in 2020.

A royal commentator, Richard Kay, told the Daily Mail that Prince Harry is working on a project about the late Princess Diana ahead of her 30th death anniversary, saying, "I am told that one of the reasons Harry's here is to make a television film, his own film, about his mother.

Adding, "I know he has been reaching out to his friends and others who knew her, asking them to contribute. That's going to occupy a lot of his headspace over the next 12 months."

However, the late Queen Elizabeth’s former chef, Daren McGrady, appeared to confirm this news as he has also mentioned on Instagram, "Oh, I did wonder if that’s why the film crew were there when I visited Althorp earlier this week. #princessdiana," the former royal chef wrote.

It is worth noting here that Prince Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, died in August 1997, leaving behind a powerful legacy of charity and humanitarian work, at the time Harry was just 12 years old, and now the late princess’ 30th death anniversary falls in 2027.
