Prince Harry appealed for family security ahead of UK return.

As the Duke of Sussex prepares for his return to the UK his family’s security issue has taken centre stage.

Following this matter, Prince Harry approached the home secretary, Shabana Mehmood regarding if his family will receive police protection and the reports are saying that he ‘privately pleaded’ with her for answers.

However, the security measures will be £5million annually, according to Daily Mail.

The dispute over Sussex royal’s security has been going from the time when he stepped back from his royal duties and moved to the US along with his wife and kids.

Previously, the former working royal challenged the decision to change his security measures in court although his appeal was rejected but he continued requesting a fresh assessment for his security matter.

Now, it is said that Harry’s security arrangements were reviewed by the VIP Executive Committee in July, when the board was not aware of his UK return.

It is noted that the cost of the security arrangements could rise even higher if the U.K Home Department agrees to finance and the Royal Prince decides to live permanently in the UK.

Furthermore, Prince Harry has reportedly been given publicly funded protection for his family, but it is not confirmed by any of the officials as the final decision of the last review has not been declared by the Home Department yet.
