King Charles is likely to allow his younger son Prince Harry, who stepped down as senior royal and moved to US, to return to his royal duties after the Duke and Meghan Markle’s plans were revealed.

Meghan and Harry are reportedly planning to move to UK with their kids Archie and Lilibet after six years.

King Charles, who media reports said welcomed having his youngest son and his family closer, only found out about the move on Sunday.

However, Prince William and Kate Middleton were blindsided by the decision that could dramatically change the royal family’s delicate new reality.

Reacting to the reports, royal expert Robert Jobson told the Daily Express UK, that the King is likely to allow Harry to return to his royal duties as he "wants a strong, unified Royal Family".

The expert continued, “Optically, it will be very hard to hide from it. What happens at Christmas? They will have to come together with the rest of the family.

“The reality is that there is a fractured relationship. But William would have to accept the King’s orders to fix it.

“The future of the monarchy relies on that relationship being rebuilt. But there will need to be an apology first, and it will have to be public.”
