Prince Harry, Meghan's neighbors react to their UK return: 'The town is exhausted'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's neighbors are "thrilled" to know that the Sussexes are moving back to the UK, leaving their "peaceful" community at Montecito, California.

It was reported earlier that after Harry and Meghan's six-year stay in the US, after stepping away from their royal duties, is coming to an end later in August and the royal pair is returning to Harry's home country.

A local source told Page Six, “When we first heard Harry and Meghan were moving to Montecito, there were definitely some concerns.

"There had already been so much negative press and attention surrounding them and the royal family, and I think people worried about what kind of spotlight that could bring to such a quiet community.”

Now after the latest update, the source noted they “couldn’t be more thrilled.”

The tattler explained, “Montecito is a very private, peaceful place, and I think a lot of people here will be happy to see things go back to being a little quieter."

However, the source noted that they are speaking on behalf of a few Montecito residents not the whole community.

But it appears that most of the residents share similar feelings as another source told the outlet that a lot of people are “happy” that Harry and Meghan are moving out as the royal couple allegedly “always asking for grandiose favors” from their pals and friends because of their royal background but never seen "giving anything back” to them or “the actual Montecito community.”

They added, “The town is exhausted by them, the entitlement and the never ending drama.”
