Royal fans urge King Charles to strip Meghan Markle titles after Sultan of Brunei's major step
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently reunited with King Charles in Britain
Royal fans have urged King Charles to strip Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal titles after Sultan of Brunei removed his daughter-in-law honours following "unbecoming" behaviour.
According to the Hello, Sultan of Brunei has stripped his daughter-in-law, Pengiran Raabi’atul Adawiyyah, of her royal titles following “unbecoming” behaviour.
Pengiran is married to Prince Abdul Malik, who is fourth in line to the Brunei throne.
She was stripped of all of her royal titles last week following a decree issued by the Sultan of Brunei.
The statement said that "the revocation was carried out following conduct by Pengiran Raabi'atul Adawiyyah that was deemed unbecoming of a spouse of a member of the royal family. Her actions were also found to have tarnished the monarchy's good name and demonstrated a lack of respect towards Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah".
The outlet also shared the news on its Instagram handle, sparking fans reaction.
The royal fans also advised King Charles to follow Sultan of Brunei’s footsteps and strip Meghan Markle and Harry’s titles.
One fan commented on the post, “Charles, pay attention.”
“Asian version of Meghan Markle,” the other said.
The third said, “And Meghan? When? @theroyalfamily.”
“King Charles should do this to Meghan Markle,” the fourth said.
The fifth said, “@theroyalfamily are you following this? So after Denmark, Sweden, Japan now Brunei have done it, what is stopping you? We've seen plenty of unbecoming behaviour from the Montecito grifters towards you, especially towards the late queen and her husband.”
