King Charles major health update comes to light days after meeting Lilibet, Archie
King Charles has been on "really good form" this year, and his engagements are "pretty much back to his pre-cancer levels"
King Charles doctors are ‘very pleased’ with his progress in cancer treatment, a royal expert has reported days after his reunion with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their kids Archie and Lilibet.
In her report for the Woman and Home, royal expert Emily Andrews has also said that after making great progress with his cancer treatment, the monarch is looking forward to a family-focused summer in Balmoral.
The expert, citing the palace insiders, has reported that “The King has been on really good form this year - I’m told his engagements are pretty much back to his pre-cancer levels.”
She further said courtiers had saved Fridays for him to rest, ever since his cancer treatment started in February 2024.
“But although he’s still receiving treatment (thought to be immunotherapy), doctors are very pleased with his progress,” Emily added.
The source tells the expert, “Besides having a proper holiday in the Highlands (he loves to fish and paint), he will continue with state business. He will host a number of people at Balmoral, including the obligatory weekend with new Prime Minister Andy Burnham and his wife Marie-France van Heel.”
Meanwhile, there are also claims King Charles has invited Harry and his family at Balmoral this year following their reunion last month for the first time in four years.
Harry, Meghan and their children Archie and Lilibet spent time with the King at Highgrove, the monarch’s private residence in southwestern England.
