Without his Dukedom, his military honors, his place in the line of succession as well as his horseback riding privilages, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is in store for a massive change this summer season, and some call it another phase of his rock bottom.

The rumor is it that the ex-Duke is slated to stare at the walls of his Marsh Farm home, while the rest of the royals pack on their schedules for event upon event.

The report comes straight from RadarOnline, via a source that warns of something big. According to the report this is what the Royal Family would consider ‘peak season’, with ‘packed engagements, ceremonies and public appearances’ but for Andrew it is all but an empty diary.

They warn, “the change in Andrew's circumstances is dramatic. Not so long ago, summer for Andrew meant a packed season of Trooping, Garter events, garden parties and state occasions – now his days are reduced to walking the dogs and keeping out of sight. What you're looking at is a man who has been pushed to the margins. There may be the odd private visit or discreet outing, but there is no formal role left for him in public life."

To emphasize the point the insider even said, “it feels like a social banishment as much as a move to a new address. People think twice before being seen with him, and that reluctance only makes the empty spaces in his diary feel even more punishing.”
