King Charles pays a heartfelt tribute to wife Queen Camilla on her 79th birthday
The brand-new portrait of Queen Camilla has been released by the Palace to mark her 79th birthday.
King Charles III's team shared the Queen's new photograph on social media on June 17, along with a heartfelt message.
"Happy Birthday to The Queen!" the caption reads alongside Camilla's photo.
"Her Majesty has marked her birthday with a renewed commitment to supporting children’s literacy, with the announcement that every Year 6 and P6 child across the UK will be gifted a special edition of the bestselling book ‘Impossible Creatures’ by award-winning author Katherine Rundell, this Christmas."
"Led by the National Literacy Trust, of which The Queen is Patron, the programme celebrates the National Year of Reading 2026."
For those unversed, Charles and Camilla tied the knot in 2005. The couple first met in 1970 at a polo match.
Following a brief relationship, Charles and Camilla went on to marry other people.
Charles married Princess Diana in 1981, while Camilla exchanged vows with Andrew Parker Bowles.
She also shares two children with Andrew - Laura Lopes and Tom Parker Bowles.
