Speaking about Duke’s negative experiences, Royal expert Russell Myers writes for Mirror: “Harry was on his way with Meghan and their children. A family celebration? A reconciliation, perhaps?”

“Definitely a stay in a royal residence, talk of potential olive branches from the King and a public appearance by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

He adds: “But one by one, the wheels started to come off.”

“It’s not been a good week for the duke. Traveling to the UK alone due to his security fears, refused a bed for the night at his father’s house and suffering a humiliating defeat in his most high profile court case to date.

The expert notes: “What was supposed to be his latest attempt at redemption with the public and perhaps improved relations with his family, has turned into an unmitigated disaster.”
