Late Princess Diana threatened Camilla over phone call?
Princess Diana allegedly threatened Camilla during late-night call in shocking revelation
Princess Diana and Camilla's feud is back in the spotlight after shocking claims from royal biographer.
As reported by Radar Online, royal biographer Penny Junor claimed in her book The Duchess: The Untold Story that Diana once placed a late-night phone call to Camilla and allegedly claimed an assassin was waiting outside her home.
Penny revealed, "Without saying who was calling, she said, ‘I've sent someone to kill you. They're outside in the garden. Look out of the window – can you see them?'"
Notably, Diana's former private secretary, Patrick Jephson also made a claim in his memoir Shadows of a Princess, describing Diana as deeply hurt by the breakdown of her marriage to now-King Charles.
According to the memoir, Diana believed she had been rejected by the royal household following her separation from Charles and often struggled with feelings of isolation. "What in the end was seen as her disaffection was what she did to compensate for a chronic feeling of rejection," Patrick shared in his memoir.
Princess Diana and Charles finalized their divorce in 1996 after years of public turmoil. She died in a Paris car crash the following year at the age of 36.
