Teddi Mellencamp gives positive update amid stage 4 brain cancer
The TV personality marked her special day as she shared her progress amid an intense cancer battle
Teddi Melencamp is over the moon as she is celebrating two major milestones amid her stage 4 cancer battle.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum marked her 45th on July 2 on her Intagram account and shared a glimpse of her regrown hair, which she lost during radiation therapy.
Taking to her Stories, she posted a throwback picture of her shaved face with visible scars she got after her 2025 brain cancer surgery.
Teddi captioned the picture, "last year on my bday.”
She then posted a recent snap featuring her ear-length blonde hair.
Teddi captioned it, "For anyone who is curious. This is what one year of regrowth looks like after losing it all during radiation."
The TV personality also posted a heartfelt note, commemorating her milestone birthday along with a childhood picture of herself.
She penned, “Happy Birthday to me! I made it until 45 but not without the help of my friends, family, surgeons, doctors, nurses and all the support from you here.”
"I apologize in advance to anyone who texts, calls or messages that I don't respond to. I am so grateful to all of you and dare I say, praying this is best year yet. (Yes, this was me not Slate), Teddi wrote referring to her 12-year-old daughter Slate.
However, in 2025, her cancer had metastasized into her brain and lungs, leaving her with no option other than undergoing immunotherapy treatments.
Though doctors told her in October 2025 that there was no trace of cancer, she was not considered in remission
Now, after seeing positive changes in her health, Teddi is looking forward to “the best” year yet.
