Trump shares apparent AI image of large golden eagle on Truman Balcony ahead of America’s 250th anniversary

On Monday evening, President Trump posted an apparent AI-generated picture of a golden eagle affixed to the Truman Balcony of the White House in celebration of America’s 250th birthday.

On Truth Social, Trump wrote, “ A Golden Gift to the White House for its 250th birthday, alongside an image of an American eagle with its wings spanning the balcony and holding a star.

The image does not appear to be a highly realistic creation given the nuanced divergence between the railing of the balcony in the picture and the actual Truman Balcony. Moreover, the shield also highlights only 11 stars, as opposed to 13, which conventionally represent the original 13 colonies at the time of America’s founding.

Trump has added tailored accents to the White House, incorporating various golden fixtures throughout the Oval Office and placing coin-style medallions throughout the White House residence.

On social platform X, this post sparked a wave of intriguing comments with one user writing, “Mr president you have hand picked a commission just approved a 24 karat gold coin featuring his own face for America’s 250th birthday.

In a democracy, American people honor principles, not monarchs. Only dictators and kings put their living faces on coins. While everyday Americans are crushed by rising gas prices and historic inflation, Trump is busy minting gold statues of himself.

Second wrote, “ Donald, this is a very beautiful and fitting gift for our Whitehouse for our country’s 250th anniversary. Congratulations, is it a personal gift from you and Melania or was it donated from another U.S. Donor or another Country.”

Trump has taken a massive interest in construction projects including a complete overhaul White House Rose Garden and the installation of two large flagpoles on the White House North and South Lawns.

Additionally, this interest extended to his levelling of the East Wing which the president has razed to the ground to make way for his controversial ballroom project.
