Lionel Messi’s $300 million property empire revealed as World Cup begins

As Lionel Messi prepares for his sixth FIFA World Cup, attention is focused on his impressive global property portfolio.
According to reports from The New York Post and The Wall Street Journal, the Argentina captain has built a real estate empire estimated to be worth around $300 million, spanning Europe, North America and South America.
Messi’s long-time home base is in Castelldefels, near Barcelona, where he purchased a property in 2009 before expanding it into a private compound.
The estate reportedly features a gym, spa, cinema room, swimming pool and a personal football pitch.
Since joining Inter Miami in 2023, Messi has expanded his presence in Florida with his holdings incldung luxury residences in Sunny Isles Beach, a waterfront mansion in Fort Lauderdale and several investment properties in Miami.
Among his most notable purchases are apartments in the Porsche Design Tower and Regalia building, both known for their high-end amenities and oceanfront locations.
Outside the United States, Messi also owns a mansion in Ibiza, reportedly bought for $12.8 million, and a large estate in his hometown of Rosario, Argentina.
The Rosario property, often referred to as “the Fortress”, reportedly includes more than 20 rooms, a cinema, gym and underground garage.
