Alec Baldwin admits he fears one thing as father of seven
Alec Baldwin shares heartfelt wish for his children, he welcomed with wife Hilaria Baldwin
Alec Baldwin opened up about an important lesson he wants to teach his kids.
During a recent chat with E News at the premiere of the documentary Gaslit, the actor and political activist said he wants his seven children with wife Hilaria Baldwin to grow up with hope.
The Mission: Impossible–Rogue Nation actor explained, "Because right now it's more hopeless than I've ever seen."
Emphasizing over the importance of perseverance, Alec said, "We've got to continue to fight to prove to our children that you got to keep fighting. You got to have hope, and you got to keep fighting to take the reins of power in our society, and that responsibility—that awesome responsibility—away from people who are going to abuse it."
However, Alec revealed on a lighter note that he once had a different goal for his children.
"For a while, I thought I just wanted them to push my wheelchair," he said. "I say, 'I want you guys to work out and get strong because you're going to be pushing the old man in my chair before long.'"
For those unversed, Alec and Hilaria's children are Rafael, 10, Eduardo, 5, Ilaria, 3, Carmen, 12, Leonardo, 9, Romeo, 8, and Maria Lucia, 5.
Back in 2025, as Alec and Hilaria have 26 years of age difference, the 68-year-old actor spoke about the challenges of being an older father.
"These kids are gonna turn around and they're gonna be ready to go to college, and I'm gonna be old," Alec shared "I'm gonna be old 15 years from now. I'll be 80."
So he admitted he tries his best to spend as much time with his kids as possible, "I try not to think about that. What I need is more time with my kids, you know?"
