Eric Trump breaks silence on viral private UFC messages shared by Daniel Cormier
Eric Trump's alleged texts surfaced ahead of UFC Freedom 250
Eric Trump has been accused of reaching out to Daniel Cormier, UFC host, to ask him if any of the fights set to take place at 'UFC Freedom 250' are rigged.
But President Donald Trump's son denied having an exchange with the commentator.
"This is completely fake! I have never reached out to Daniel. In fact, this is scary," Eric wrote on X.
In a separate post, he yet again emphasized the screenshots were fake.
"We are aware of the fake, AI-generated screenshots being circulated online. I have never spoken to Daniel."
"He has since deleted his post, which confirms it was clearly fabricated."
He doubled down on his claim that the screenshots were fabricated.
"This did not happen. They were AI-generated. Please be careful with reporting."
Eric's response comes after Cormier shared and then deleted a post that quickly went viral.
In the alleged exchange, it read the following:
Eric: "Hey Daniel, I'm going to be attending UFC 250 tomorrow. I saw you were casting; hope to see you there!"
Cormier: "Yo Eric, didn't expect a DM from you. Excited to meet you and the family. Much love, brother!!"
Eric: "Anything you can tell me about the fighters tomorrow? Who do you have winning?"
Cormier: "Haha, I like to stay unbiased, but I love to watch Nickal fight."
Eric: "Are you placing any bets?"
Cormier: "Nah, I'm actually not allowed to bet on any cards or anything."
Eric: "Are any of the fighters injured that you know of?"
Cormier: "I'm not quite sure why you're asking me this, but I think they're all in good shape..."
Eric: "I'll just cut to the chase. Is any of the fighting tomorrow rigged? I've been eyeing the Lopes fight, and I think an upset wouldn't be too unrealistic. $$"
Cormier: "No, none of our fights are rigged, and honestly, I am appalled that you would even ask me something like that."
Meanwhile, preparations, it appeared, are all set in place for an event of the UFC at the White House.
