Katy Perry feels nothing but pride in being the woman she has become for her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom.

For those unaware, Perry shares her 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, with her ex-fiancé, Orlando Bloom. The high-profile Hollywood couple started dating in 2016 and announced their engagement in 2019. Their plans for marriage were shattered due to COVID-19, and eventually they broke their engagement in June 2025 after nine years of togetherness.

Conversing with PEOPLE magazine in a recent interview, the 41-year-old American singer-songwriter touched on motherhood, stating that her heart swells with pride for adopting certain qualities in her personality for her daughter.

"It's always incredible when I get to bring my daughter to work,” Perry said, referring to Daisy Dove accompanying her on her recent Lifetimes tour to support her 2024 album titled 143.

The Wide Awake songstress articulated, "I think when mothers can be their most supported, authentic selves, that is always a good template for children to model. And I'm just glad to model a strong, steady, intelligent, funny, weird woman for my beautiful daughter.”

Notably, this comes after the proud mother of one showed up at the Tribeca Festival premiere of her latest concert film, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour — Live from Paris, on Monday, June 8, 2026, where she partook in a post-screening Q&A with journalist Tomás Mier, a former PEOPLE staffer, and during the conversation, she called Daisy Dove “a force.”

“She tells me exactly what she thinks,” Perry shared.

It is pertinent to mention that the theatrical and streaming release dates of Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour — Live from Paris have yet to be announced.
