Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow is facing backlash for promoting an Israeli real estate project.
An ad for a luxury housing project featuring the US actress recently went viral on social media, sparking strong criticism from fans and political activists.
Hundreds of her Instagram followers criticized her in the comments section of her last post shared on May 28, expressing disappointment over her decision to appear in the ad.
Commenting on her post, Plastik magazine's Instagram account dropped a sarcastic comment, writing, "P**** candles not making enough money yeah?, referring to candle that the actress sells claiming it smells like her private parts.
One fan wrote, "Congratulations! You’ve won the race to the bottom."
Ms Paltrow starred in her version of The Zone of Interest. Appalling beyond words," said another.
However, Gwyneth Paltrow has remained silent despite an outpouring of severe criticism online.
