Sharing photos from his day later, William turned to social media to laud leadership and young voices.

“Empowering the next generation

Concluding the day with The Diana Award at SXSW,” began the official Instagram page of Prince William.

The caption added: “London in Shoreditch, celebrating young people using their voices and leadership to drive positive change.”

“Meeting recent Legacy Award recipients and hearing how they are continuing to inspire action, unlock potential and show the power of youth-led change,” the caption noted.

The Prince of Wales, who recently visited the Duchy of Cornwall this week to look over shelter homes, is planning to shake things up with change.

Former BBC royal correspondent, Jennie Bond, told the Mirror: “I think this is a powerful example of William putting his money where his mouth is. He has talked about change being on his agenda, and now he is proving that he’s willing to shake things up in quite a dramatic way.

“He says he wants to be more than a traditional landowner. His goal is to prioritise things that will make people's lives better. William is all about impact and tangible results.”
