Prince William sends powerful message with his latest visit

Prince William visited a longstanding community charity Pecan in South London.

With his visit the Prince of Wales highlighted the vital work being carried out to support residents facing poverty, food insecurity and social isolation.

The official Instagram handle of the Prince and Princess of Wales posted photos from the visit, showing Prince William meeting the staff, volunteers and residents.

The details in the caption revealed: "A visit to PECAN in Peckham, a long-standing community charity supporting residents across Southwark facing poverty, food insecurity and isolation."

"Meeting staff, volunteers and and the people they help, hearing how services such as the Southwark Foodbank, employment support and social supermarket provision continue to make a vital difference," it read further.

William received praise from royal fans for highlighting the growing importance of community-led services at a time when many households continue to feel financial pressure.
