In an opinion piece for Woman and Home, royal expert Emily Andrews has claimed that it's King Charles wish that peace should reign.

The expert said it has been reported that Charles deputy private secretary Theo Rycroft has made it his ‘number one mission’ to reunite the warring brothers.

The King has also reportedly picked sister-in-law Duchess Sophie for a secret mission to reach a ‘truce’ that will end their bitter rift for good.

The insiders have told the outlet, King Charles has selected Duchess Sophie, 61 to handle what has become a very delicate situation.

Amid King Charles efforts, there are claims Harry has been left off the guest list for his cousin Peter Phillips’ wedding to Harriet Sperling on June 6 because the groom’s loyalties lie with Prince William.

Speaking to the Page Six, royal commentator Emily Nash has said: “I think it comes down to interpersonal relationships, doesn’t it? He wasn’t invited as a result.”

Nash noted that Phillips is “very close” and “very loyal” to William.
