Hugh Jackman’s now ‘burning mad’: ‘All he wants is for Nicole to stop treating him like the bad guy’
Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman are now going head to head
Nicole Kidman may have just made it clear which side she’s taken in the Huge Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness divorce.
This was shown when the star apparently made it a point to avoid her co-star at the Met Gala, in an apparent show of support for his ex.
The entire thing has been explained by a well-placed insider that just sat down with Heat World.
According to them, Hugh was well aware of what was happening and since then he’s been really upset that Nicole avoided him at the Met Gala.
“That was very fishy to him – and then afterwards, he heard through the grapevine that some not very nice things were being said, and that she was letting everyone know she is team Deb,” they admitted too.
What is more is that “that did not sit well with Hugh at all. He’s burning mad and is convinced that Nicole has been winding Deb up behind the scenes, because she’s gone from being very cooperative, and even agreeing to meet up with him and Sutton for a friendly lunch, to suddenly going on what looks to him like some snarky rampage.”
“It’s come out of nowhere, at least in his view, because he thought they were on a good path,” the same source also explained.
At this point this massive pendulum swing has made him go looking for someone to blame and for all intents and purposes that title has gone to Nicole, “because it seems as though she’s got this axe to grind with him,” in their eyes.
Near the end the source also offered some insight into how his emotions are fairing as a result.
They claim, “Hugh knows there’s a narrative out there that paints him as this bad guy who threw away a perfectly great marriage because he got swept up in lust. But the truth is his relationship with Deb was long over by the time he and Sutton got together. It’s very hurtful to have his character and integrity questioned with no real chance to defend himself. He wants to address this head on with everyone in his life that has fallen for that story, especially Nicole.”
“He wants to plead his case with Nicole and assure her that he means no harm. He isn’t asking her to turn her back on Deb. All he wants is for Nicole to stop treating him like the bad guy.”
