Quinta Brunson shares biggest 'takeaway' from 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'
Quinta Brunson reveals why she loves '90s television shows, especially 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'
Quinta Brunson recently opened up about one episode of a television show that became a founding stone of her successful career in the entertainment world.
The 36-year-old American actress and comedian appeared on the I Am An Actor podcast on June 2, where she got honest about her love for television.
While shedding light on the ‘90s era television shows, Brunson called the famous classic sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is a master class in storytelling.
Articulating her thoughts, she said, “Nothing was being watched without absorption. There wasn't a single show that I think I watched just for purely entertainment without eventually studying the art of it.”
“I remember Fresh Prince was a natural watch in my home,” the Abbott Elementary star shared.
Notably, Brunson is an ardent of the series but there is one particular episode of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air she watched on repeat.
“As I got older, I realized I would watch the pilot over and over and over again. And even at that time, I still didn't understand what it was I was trying to take away from it,” she revealed.
After mulling it over for years, the Zootopia 2 alum understood the impact of the episode on her.
“But as I got older, it occurred to me that this is a perfectly written pilot. I think that's what I was watching this over and over and over again for. It's perfectly written. It's perfectly performed. Perfectly cast,” Quinta Brunson remarked.
