Ben Affleck’s desire to ‘wash his hands’ of Jennifer Lopez comes out

Ben Affleck has found himself between a rock and a hard place and a source has just come forward about his efforts to completely wash his hands of her.

The source that broke everything down began by admitting how widely he’s even rooting for her to find love with her Office Romance co-star Brett Goldstein.

They explained the entire thing with Closer magazine and claim, “it’s no secret that Ben is trying to wash his hands of Jen. There’s a reason he gave her his half of their house [earlier this year, the actor, 53, officially signed over to Jen his stake in their shared Hollywood mansion, worth $25m.]”

As it stands, “in his view, the faster she can find happiness with someone else, the better. And he genuinely does want to see her happy.”

One thing the source did make clear of was that “he wouldn’t be encouraging this if he thought that Brett wasn’t a good choice.”

While he doesn’t know him personally, the source did make one thing clear and its that “he has some friends who know Brett, and they’ve had nothing but good things to say.”

So “that’s enough for Ben to root for him because he knows Jen is happier when she has a partner,” they added before signing off fully.
