Parliament intruder says he wanted to meet King Charles and Andrew

A man who trespassed into the House of Parliament told authorities he wanted to meet former prince  Andrew and King Charles, said a media outlet citing a court hearing.

The man identified as a 23 year-old Devon Dorrall pleaded guilty to one count of trespassing on a protected site on November 30 at Westminster Magistrates' Court.

Dorrall, from Tilehurst, Berkshire, was said to have been suffering a "psychotic episode" after the "consumption of illegal drugs" when he told officers who had approached him that he was there to see members of the royal family.

He had first been spotted by a maintenance engineer, who noticed he had a visitor's pass but was unaccompanied, the court heard.

The court was informed that the employee questioned Dorrall on what he was doing, to which he claimed he was a victim of a crime and was "effectively with Prince Harry".

The court heard Dorrall "stared in a manner which was described as threatening by officers" and told police "it was their fault" before calling one a "c***" and "became aggressive in his mannerisms".

When asked what was the purpose of his visit," "(The) defendant said he'd come to the estate to visit Prince Andrew and Prince Charles from the Royal Family."

He was subsequently arrested.
