Dua Lipa and Callum Turner officially marry in London ahead of lavish Sicily celebration
Reports say the London ceremony was mainly the legal part of the marriage before a larger celebration planned in Sicily later this week
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner have officially married in the presence of close family and friends.
The couple exchanged vows on Sunday, May 31, in front of a small group of guests from both families at Marylebone Town Hall. The wedding comes after Dua confirmed last year that she and Turner were engaged.
Photos taken outside the venue showed the newlyweds smiling as they left the building while friends and relatives showered them with confetti before they left together in a traditional London taxi.
For the ceremony, Dua chose a sleek all-white look instead of a traditional wedding gown, and rather opted for white coat, gloves, hat and matching shoes, paired with a loose-fitting pencil dress.
Meanwhile, Turner went for an all-black outfit, including an oversized blazer, black shirt, tie and polished dress shoes.
Reports say the London ceremony was mainly the legal part of the marriage before a larger celebration planned in Sicily later this week. The upcoming event is expected to last several days with some celebrity guests in attendance.
Several famous names are rumoured to be attending the Italian celebrations, including Charli XCX and Tove Lo.
Reports say the Sicily celebrations will have multiple luxury venues and a more elaborate setup compared to the understated London ceremony.
