Are Jennifer Lopez, Brett Goldstein more than just costars?
Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein's new film 'Office Romance' is all set to release on June 5
Jennifer Lopez and costar Brett Goldstein’s unmatched chemistry while promoting their upcoming Netflix romantic comedy Office Romance is getting all the attention and it's hard to ignore.
The playful conversation during the press tour has been so convincing that some fans have even wondered if the two might be an item in real life.
But sources told People the romance is only part of the film.
Lopez's "flirty energy with Brett" is genuine. She really likes him," an unnamed insider told the magazine.
However, the attraction between the two is not going to be a thing as Lopez "is in a great place on her own right now,” and “doesn’t need a relationship to feel happy.”
On the other hand, Goldstein's old video of confessing his love for Lopez is also circulating during their promo run, which has further ignited romance rumors between the two.
"I believed that, one day, I would marry J.Lo, and after last night, I was like, ‘Maybe all hope is dead,'” Goldstein said of Lopez's marriage to Ben Affleck back in 2022. “So, I don’t know anymore. Love is love, but sometimes, they marry Ben Affleck.”
One of the reason behind Lopez and Goldstein's effortless bond on the film set could be due to Goldstein writing the film specifically with Lopez in mind.
“He wrote this script for me,” Lopez, known as the rom-com queen, told Jimmy Kimmel at his talk show recently. “He was a fan, I guess, before, and I was a fan of his from ‘Ted Lasso,’ which people knew I was a fan of ‘Ted Lasso.’ […] He also sent a note that said, ‘You’re at the top of our list. It’s a list of one. If you don’t do the money, we’re not making it.'”
Office Romance is all set to stream on Netflix from June 5.
