They named the 'daughter' Sedona after the spot in America where Cat Jarman and Charles Spencer were married last week
Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer and his new wife Professor Cat Jarman have released a statement to share good news with the world.
In a joint post, the newlywed couple shared photos of 'mother' and ‘baby’ on their social media handles saying “Welcome to the world, Sedona!”
They explained, “This beautiful alpaca cria (baby) was born this morning, and has been happily up and about for most of the day, settling into life here under her mother’s watchful eye.”
Charles Spencer and Jarman said, “A lot of gentle humming between mother and daughter.”
They further said, “Sedona is named after the spot in America where @catjarman and I were married last week.”
Previously, in a post on social media, Charles Spencer confirmed the date of his wedding with archaeologist and podcast co-host Professor Cat Jarman.
Following reports of their wedding, the 9th Earl Spencer, 61 took to social media and revealed the date of his wedding with loved-up photos.
He said, “15 May 2026 - the happiest day ever.”
Spencer went on saying, “A very close friend said to me, months ago: ‘The thing about Cat is, she’d want to be with you if you lived in a hut.’
“Little did I know she’d also be happy to marry me in a desert.”
