Ed Kelce dragged into controversy ahead of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding
Taylor Swift is not sharing details of her upcoming wedding with anyone
Taylor Swift reportedly doesn’t fully trust Travis Kelce’s dad, Ed Kelce, and has kept him out of the loop on her wedding plans.
Citing a source, Daily Mail reported “He’s sort of like a loose cannon. “Nobody knows what he’s going to say so it’s kind of a controversial situation.”
The report comes amid speculations about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's upcoming wedding.
An insider was quoted as saying that Ed Kelce, “already gave out a lot of information about the engagement.”
Earlier, it was reported that Taylor Swift had been leading plans for the wedding solely with her fiancé and a wedding planner. The couple's mothers Andrea Swift and Donna Kelce, have been kept on the sidelines.
The insider further explained, “When it comes to the date and location, she wants to avoid anything leaking ahead of time.” “Which is why there are no physical save-the-dates being sent out.”
Taylor Swift has been reportedly "personally calling guests” to invite them to her wedding celebrations, as she is super keen on controlling the whole planning.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ed Kelce comes from a family with a strong military tradition, with many relatives serving in the US military, including during World War II.
He is seen as a strong influence on his sons, instilling work ethic, toughness, and discipline. Jason Kelce has called him his role model and “the smartest guy in the world” growing up.
