King Charles meets students transforming their future through digital skills
King Charles visited W5 LIFE in Belfast to meet young people developing digital and career skills.
As the King began his annual visit to Northern Island alongside wife, Queen Camilla on Tuesday, the official Instagram handle of the King's Trust posted glimpse of the monarch's engagement.
The photos shared in a joint post with the British royal family showed the monarch meeting young participants during the engagement as part of celebration's marking the organization's 50th anniversary.
The details shared in the caption read: "A powerful moment for young people in Northern Ireland."
It added, "As part of our 50th anniversary, His Majesty the King visited W5 LIFE in Belfast to meet young people gaining the skills and confidence to shape their futures."
Continuing, "From immersive STEM experiences to hands‑on digital learning, W5 LIFE is helping unlock new opportunities and exciting career paths for the next generation."
The caption also noted that through the partnership with E5 LIFE, part of The Odyssey Trust, the foundation have delivered eight OCN‑accredited digital skills programmes - supporting over 100 young people so far to build confidence, resilience and real‑world skills through our Get Ready initiative."
They noted that across Northern Ireland, the impact of work goes even further with growing community of schools, employers and partners backing young people to succeed.
"Moments like this are about more than a visit - they’re about celebrating young people, their potential, and the futures they’re creating for their communities," the caption concluded.
While King Charles visited W5 LIFE, Queen Camilla on the other hand popped into the Fane Street Primary pupils in South Belfast.
