Brendan Fraser set to reprise iconic role 20 years later: 'Wish Me Luck'
Brendan Fraser is 'doing his best' to get in shape for 'The Mummy 4'
Brendan Fraser is all set to reprise his role of adventurer Rick O'Connell in the fourth installment of The Mummy after nearly 20 years.
The 57-year-old actor recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he revealed that he's doing his best to get in shape for the sequel.
"Well, we're gonna get the band back together," Brendan confirmed. "The only way to do it. So, we are going to give the audience what they have been bothering all of us for, for the last 20-whatever years."
The Rental Family star further said, "Listen, what we're gonna do is saddle back up, go back to the locations. I should probably stop talking like this, because I don't want to give everything away."
"However, please wish me luck. I'm doing my best to get this 57-year-old gear in shape," added the Oscar-winning actor.
Deadline reported in February that the fourth sequel to The Mummy was in development.
As per the latest report, the new movie is expected to premiere in May 2028. In addition to Brendan, Rachel Weisz will also reprise his role in The Mummy 4.
It is pertinent to note that Brandon starred in The Mummy in 1999, while Rachel appeared in the second installment.
