Kate Middleton admits she is always teased over her ‘soft voice’
Kate Middleton talks about her personal struggles during public engagement
Kate Middleton admits she’s often told to be louder during public engagements.
The Prince of Wales, who attended what was supposed to be the hundred birth anniversary of Queen Elizabeth two, admitted that she gets teased by the royal family over how she presents herself with royal admirers.
Speaking with guests at Buckingham Palace, she said: “I find these environments are really hard. I've also got a very soft voice, so I always get told ‘Speak up a bit louder!’”
In a 2016 ITV documentary Our Queen at Ninety, Kate noted : "There's a real art to walkabouts, everybody teases me in the family that I spend far too long chatting. I still have to learn a little bit more, and to pick up a few more tips, I suppose."
Meanwhile, body language expert Judi James told the Mirror : “Kate's body language here defines her as the perfect and very active hostess, while the simple lilac dress with its 1940s inspired bust darts and the three rows of pearls look like a very powerful homage to the iconic styling of the late Queen herself on what would have been her 100th birthday.”
