Leonardo DiCaprio makes big announcement after Oscar date with Vittoria Ceretti
The 'Titanic' star reveals new 'partnership' days after attending 2026 Academy Awards with Vittoria Ceretti
Leonardo DiCaprio has made a major announcement after attending the 2026 Academy Awards with his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti.
On Monday, the 51-year-old actor took to his Instagram handle and shared a series of photos to announce his new "partnership".
"L&G and Enosis Capital have announced a $1 billion partnership to support debt-for-nature swaps that allow governments to commit to environmental conservation while lowering their country’s debt service burden," the Titanic star penned while sharing mesmerizing photos from the depth of ocean.
"The partnership will give governments more financial support and confidence in pursuing debt-for-nature swaps, and it will mean that there is reliable funding available to protect nature, strengthen communities and support long-term economic and environmental resilience," he added.
The post also includes a statement from the director of the Debt for Nature Coalition, as he said, "This partnership marks a monumental step forward for sovereign debt conversions."
“L&G and Enosis Capital’s partnership sends a powerful signal to the market: that conservation and sustainable development are not peripheral objectives, but core components of long-term investment strategies," noted the director.
On the professional front, Leonardo is currently busy filming his upcoming film, What Happens at Night, with Jennifer Lawrence.
The film is expected to be released in late 2026 or, more likely, in 2027.
