Prince Harry trip to Australia ‘is not about money’
Prince Harry has philanthropic ambitions from his Australia trip
Prince Harry is reportedly planning on new horizons with his Australia tour.
The Duke of Sussex wants to pursue more of his philanthropy was he announced a three-day trip with Meghan Markle.
Royal expert Richard Palmer writes for i paper: “Meanwhile Harry’s primary focus is said to be on philanthropy – echoes of his old life – and his remaining charity patronages: the Invictus Games Foundation, African Parks, WellChild, Scotty’s Little Soldiers for bereaved military children, and his effort to make tourism more environmentally sustainable via his organisation Travalyst.”
He adds: “At the High Court in London, Harry’s lawyers are currently battling it out with Associated Newspapers, publishers of the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday newspapers – over historic allegations of unlawful newsgathering which the company and its journalists vehemently deny.”
“If he loses it could be embarrassing but it will not hit him in the pocket because he is insured. ‘This has never been about money. If this was only ever about money he wouldn’t have done it,’ a source close to him said. ‘This has always been about accountability, truth, and justice.’”
