Meghan Markle snapped at Prince William during pivotal meeting, claims bombshell book
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry drop a response to the bombshell claims in the latest book
A book by royal author Tom Bower is making the rounds on social media for its bombshell claims, including Meghan Markle snapping at Prince William during tea time.
Titled Betrayal, Bower provided background that the tea was a reconciliation attempt to mend fences at the Kensington Palace apartment between the two royal couples amid their alleged tension.
But during the meeting — which occurred shortly after the Sussexes' honeymoon — an alleged shocking incident happened.
How it unfolded is a jaw-dropping confrontation between Markle and William, according to Bower's latest book.
"If you don’t mind, get your finger out of my face," Meghan Markle snapped at William. The teatime reconciliation meeting between the brothers and their wives had spun out of control."
"Sitting in the Cambridges’ recently redecorated 20-room Kensington Palace apartment, soon after the Sussexes returned from their honeymoon in June 2018, Harry watched the confrontation escalate."
Bombshell claims draw instant response from the Sussexes
The pair's spokesperson, in response to Bower's claims, said, "Mr. Bower’s commentary has long crossed the line from criticism into fixation."
"This is someone who has publicly stated, 'The monarchy, in fact, depends on actually obliterating the Sussexes from our state of life,' language that speaks for itself. He has made a career out of constructing ever more elaborate theories about people he does not know and has never met."
"Those interested in facts will look elsewhere; those seeking deranged conspiracy and melodrama know exactly where to find him," the spokesperson concluded.
