Jason Biggs reveals why he showed 11-year-old son his notorious 'American Pie' scene
Jason Biggs says THIS is the reason he showed his son one of his infamous scenes from 'American Pie'
Jason Biggs recently revealed how he taught his 11-year-old son about s*x education.
The 47-year-old American actor shares his two children, sons 11-year-old Sid and 8-year-old Lazlo, with wife Jenny Mollen.
On the latest episode of SiriusXM’s The Julia Cunningham Show, Biggs, who played Jim Levenstein in the 1999 coming-of-age teen s*x comedy film American Pie, opened up about explaining one of the infamous pie scenes to Sid.
He said, “They kept hearing about American Pie and pie and [asking], ‘Daddy, what do you do with the pie?’ and I had to have a conversation with my oldest.”
The Wedding Daze star added, “I actually showed him the scene. Jenny and I talked about this, and we were like, ‘We want to get ahead of this.’”
Biggs clarified that there was a solid reason behind making a major move, as some of the movie scenes still pop in uncomfortable and unexpected ways.
He reminisced about a time when his family was “walking in New York on the street and the boys were up ahead and thank god they did not hear it, but a guy walked past us all and literally screamed out back to me, ‘Hey, it’s the pie f*****,’ and I looked immediately at the boys.”
However, “They did not hear him, thank god.”
After several unwanted encounters, Biggs and his wife decided to handle the situation by having a difficult discussion with their sons.
“It’s my version of a s*x talk, right? It’s like, how much do you want them to hear from friends and other people at school, and how much do you want to control the narrative, and it was literally happening with American Pie,” he explained.
