With the way things are going between the Sussexes and King Charles, the chances of him meeting them where they are at, and accepting the invitation for The Invictus Games seems to be a stretch.

So much so that a source has come forward to name the two things that might sway him into action, even if the bridges have crashed and burned.

The source in question admits the answer lies in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s kids who the King is reportedly ‘desperate’ to meet.

Its gotten to a point where “a great deal of hostility” is also being seen in his inner circle. Hence they believe the only “natural and effective approach” the couple have left are Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Reason being while it is ‘unlikely’ the King will take on any ‘formal’ role connected to the Games, “there is a genuine possibility that he would agree to see Harry and his grandchildren, and that scenario would almost certainly involve a meeting with Meghan as well,” the source admitted to RadarOnline.

They even admit this is the only pressure point to hold out hope over because “seeing his grandchildren is the single factor that could compel Charles to act in a way he otherwise would not.” Right now “no matter how complicated or awkward it might be from a royal or public standpoint, that personal bond exerts a powerful pull on him.”
