Meghan Markle eyes another huge opportunity to be with Hollywood elites
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, reportedly seeks place among fashion and Hollywood elite
Meghan Markle is reportedly eyeing another high-profile opportunity to mingle with Hollywood and fashion elites.
According to a latest report, the Duchess of Sussex is said to desperate to be included at the funeral of legendary designer Valentino in Rome.
Valentino, who passed away on January 19 at the age of 93, is expected to be honoured by an A-list gathering of stars and industry figures.
Speaking on it, an insider shared with Radar Online that the former Suits star is making deliberate efforts to secure a spot.
While Meghan never attended Valentino’s runway shows, she has worn his designs, which included a red capelet dress during a 2019 royal tour of Morocco and a white pantsuit for the 2022 Invictus Games.
"She's quietly reaching out to Valentino’s inner circle, hoping to secure a seat among the fashion elite,” wrote Hollywood insider Rob Shuter, citing sources.
They continued, "Meghan wants to pay her respects and be seen honoring a designer she’s admired for years.
“She's very deliberate about making sure she's included," the insider dished, adding that Prince Harry’s wife “sees this as an opportunity."
"It’s not just paying respects — it's about being part of the inner circle of the fashion world. She knows this is one of those moments where image and timing matter," the insider continued.
The funeral would include big Hollywood names, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Anne Hathaway, and Sarah Jessica Parker, per the publication.
