Prince Harry’s hopes for reconciliation with his father has seemingly rubbed his brother the wrong way, as he suspects there are ulterior motives at play.

In regards to these fears, the heir to the throne fears his younger brother may not have only his father on his mind, but also the sizable fortune King Charles is said to have amassed in his lifetime.

According to Woman’s Day, while Prince Harry and Meghan are sitting on $105 million, the King has a private fortune of $4.2 billion.

A palace source also referenced the heir’s fears in detail and told the outlet that he is now working overtime to have the Sussexes written out of all future inheritance talk and “William insists this isn’t about holding grudges or punishing Harry for old wounds.” According to the source “he says it’s basic common sense and protecting the institution.”

As it stands, “from his point of view, Harry didn’t just step away quietly – he turned his back on royal life in a very public, hostile way and he cannot reconcile that with the idea of Harry continuing to get financial rewards.”

Plus when it comes to final matters, despite only being heir the same insider admits, “William’s influence inside The Firm counts for a great deal. When he raises concerns, people listen, including his father. He’s probably deeply sceptical about how any funds would actually be used.”

Not to mention, “even if the money technically went to Harry, William’s worried about whether it would be quickly redirected to support Meghan’s ambitions,” the insider concluded by saying.
