Maya Hawke highlights major discrepancy in 'Stranger Things' season 5
Maya Hawke raises pivotal question in the fifth season of 'Stranger Things'
Maya Hawke highlighted a glaring plot hole during a scene in Stranger Things season 5.
The recently released Netflix documentary, One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5, offers fans a behind-the-scenes look at the season.
As it captured several unforgettable moments, one scene showed Hawke asking a quite crucial question to director Shawn Levy.
The fifth season of Stranger Things has a scene where her character Robin Buckley, Amybeth McNulty’s Vickie, Caleb McLaughlin’s Lucas, and Sadie Sink’s Max Mayfield hide from the demodogs hunting Max in the laundry room. While filming the scene, Hawke told Levy that her relationship status was unclear.
Referring to the secret relationship between Robin and Vickie, the 27-year-old American actress and singer-songwriter said, "I have a question. It hasn't been talked about very much in any of the scenes that we've all been in together — no one knows that we're dating, including Caleb.”
"And I would like to play this scene in a whisper — I would like to do this," The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping star quipped, moving her face close to McNulty’s.
It is pertinent to mention that Levy, the 57-year-old Canadian-American filmmaker and actor, did not openly recognize the flaw that Hawke mentioned; however, he admitted her suggestion was “good.”
One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5 is available on Netflix.
