New major update in Prince Harry, Palace relations comes to light
Meghan Markle is expected to visit UK with Prince Harry this year
Insiders have exposed new major update in Prince Harry and the Palace relations amid his ongoing security battle.
The Mirror has reported as the outcome of the review by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec), is expected this month, the sources close to Harry are said to be 'confident' it could be restored.
The update will pave the way for Harry to bring his wife Meghan and children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK visit.
Insiders previously said that if the decision did not go Harry's way, it would suggest an "intervention from the Palace".
Reacting to it, a former royal aide has hit back at such suggestion saying it is "both unjust and inaacurate".
The royal aide tells The Times, per the Mirror: "The palace has no such powers within Ravec. While they sit on the committee it is not their role to advise on threat analysis or appropriate mitigations.
"That is for the actual intelligence and security experts to advise on — as of course they do whenever the duke’s visits to the UK are being reviewed under the existing Ravec process."
Prince Harry's relations with Palace have been reported 'strained' after reports Meghan is expected to make the first UK visit in four years for an Invictus Games event.
Meghan is due to join her husband Harry at the event in Birmingham, but only if their right to armed police protection in the UK is reinstated.
